FA Women’s Cup 3rd Round Qualifying Sunday 7th October
Poole Town LFC 0 Oxford City Ladies 6
Oxford City Ladies travelled to Poole Town for this FA Cup Third Round qualifying game. Poole Town played a defensive game from the start and never appeared to pose a great threat. Oxford City found it difficult to finish the numerous attacks on the Poole goal until minutes before the half time whistle when Michele Ewins found the back of the Poole net.

City came out after half time with Steph Mobbs replacing Claire Bates. High balls were played end to end with neither side able to make them count. With 25 minutes remaining Steph Kubat was brought on to replace Michele Ewins, and Amy Cranston was brought on to replace Louise Craig. The pairing of Steph Mobbs and Steph Kubat up front soon paid dividends. Mobbs firing home from a Kubat cross doubled the City lead. In almost an exact reversal of this, Mobbs set up Kubat for the third City goal. The partnership carried on working its magic and Kubat was able to find the net twice more to complete her hat-trick and a 5–0 lead for City. Not content to sit back on this, Katie Totton added a sixth in the last minutes of the game giving City a 6–0 victory and a place in the 1st round proper to be played on Sunday 28th October at Court Place Farm stadium against Salisbury City.
